Comments: Whilst visiting Fountains Abbey from Rochdale we came across a stricken young pheasant on the road within the grounds of Fountains Abbey. We picked up the bird & went to the visitors centre at the Abbey and were disappointed with the response of the staff. Rang RSPB who gave us the number of the Wildlife Haven & the lovely Christa could not have been more helpful despite being clearly over run with casualties! I hope one day to win the lottery & Wildlife Haven will be top of our list of beneficiaries.
Thank you Christa & all who help maintain your cause

Comments: just to say a very big thank you for the excellent advice you gave me regarding my two blue * * * orphan chicks, when I contacted you last Sunday morning. You were also a great help with my contacting the RSPCA - I'd still be wizzing round the push button system, I'm sure. As it is, they came to collect my two chicks (warm, fed, watered and chirping!!)yesterday lunch time, and took them to grow into strong adults. We very much hope anyway, thank you again - they'd have died without you.

Comments: Thank you Krista for the fascinating talk you gave to the Cleveland Naturalists Field Club on your work and experiences at the Wildlife Haven. We were very impressed by the tremendous effort you put into wildlife rescue and rehabilitation and the dedication you have to the care and well being of the great variety of creatures you look after.

Comments: Thank you so much for taking on Franko the baby sparrow, who we rescued from children who were using him as a football. Then coming to the rescue after the RSPCA almost killed him by releasing him in a wet dirty alleyway. Franko the sparrow has been through a lot the last few days but thanks to these kind people he has the care he deserves.

Comments: Just a quick note to say what a wonderful job you do at the wildlife Haven. Thank you so much for taking in Ethan the House Sparrow (even though you had taken in a number of casualties that day) it was a great relief to find someone who was so willing to help. Katie and I have been spreading the word of what a wonderful job you do and long may it continue. Many thanks again
